The 96-hour Copenhagen Card is available on Discover only — not Hop. Here’s what four full days gets you, and whether it’s worth stepping up from 72 hours.
The 96-hour card costs €163.13 over four days — that’s €40.75 per day. The 72-hour card costs €139.05 over three days — that’s €46.35 per day. The longer duration gives you better value if you can use all four days.
Four days allows for two comfortable day trips outside Copenhagen — Kronborg Castle (40 minutes), Louisiana Museum (40 minutes), or Roskilde (30 minutes). You can even combine Kronborg and Roskilde on the same day by train.
The Hop card stops at 72 hours maximum — no 96-hour or 120-hour options. For four days in Copenhagen, the Discover card is your only choice, and it includes all public transport plus day trips.
Tivoli Gardens (gardens entry included, rides extra), Canal Tours Copenhagen from Gammel Strand or Nyhavn, Rosenborg Castle and Crown Jewels, Christiansborg Royal Reception Rooms.
Take the train to Helsingør (40 minutes). Kronborg Castle — Hamlet’s castle and UNESCO World Heritage site. Entry included with your Discover card. Train covered by your card.
Take the train to Humlebæk (40 minutes). Louisiana Museum of Modern Art — world-class modern art and sculpture gardens by the sea. Train and entry both included with your Discover card.
Take the train to Roskilde (30 minutes). Viking Ship Museum — five original Viking ships. Train and entry included with your Discover card. Travelling with children? Copenhagen Zoo is a great alternative for day 4.
The Hop card is designed for short city breaks and stops at 72 hours maximum. The 96-hour and 120-hour durations are only available on the Discover card, which includes unlimited public transport and day trips outside Copenhagen.
The 96-hour card covers four full days and costs €163.13 (€40.75 per day). The 120-hour card covers five full days and costs €189.90 (€37.98 per day). Choose 120 hours if you want five days or can make use of the slightly better per-day value.
Four days allows for two city days and two day trips, which covers the main attractions comfortably. If you want to explore more of the Capital Region or prefer a slower pace, consider the 120-hour card for five full days.
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before use — activated cards are non-refundable.
