Discover is actually cheaper at every comparable duration. At 72 hours, Discover costs $161 (€139) while Hop costs $163 (€141). At 48 hours, Discover costs $133 (€115) while Hop costs $136 (€117). Can I use the Hop card to get from the airport to the city?

No. The Hop card only includes Stromma hop-on hop-off buses, which do not serve Copenhagen Airport. You need to buy a separate metro ticket ($17 / €14 return) or choose the Discover card, which includes unlimited metro access including the airport route.

Are the hop-on hop-off buses included with the Discover card?

No. The Discover card covers 80+ attractions and unlimited public transport (metro, trains, buses, harbour buses), but does not include the Stromma hop-on hop-off tourist buses. The Hop card covers fewer attractions but includes unlimited hop-on hop-off bus access on 3 city routes.

Can I visit Kronborg Castle with the Hop card?

No. Kronborg Castle is in Helsingor, 40 minutes from Copenhagen by train. The Hop card only covers city-centre attractions and does not include public transport to reach day-trip destinations. You need the Discover card for Kronborg, Louisiana Museum, and other regional attractions.

Does the Hop card work for 4 or 5-day trips?

No. The Hop card is available in 24, 48, and 72-hour durations only. For trips of 4+ days, you need the Discover card, which offers 96-hour (4 days) and 120-hour (5 days) options.
